Faces and Beauty at Balmain Spring/Summer 2025 Show

So, Olivier Rousteing of Balmain thinks that “…the face is the sexiest part of a woman’s body…” and it shows in the latest runway show for Spring/Summer 2025. From the bold lines and silhouettes to the beading and accessories, Balmain’s spring/summer 25 show is one of my favorites of the season. Some of the accessories have lipstick and perfume bottles incorporated into the design. What a genius collection, see more below.

Bohemian Sisterparty

So what’s going on? I stumbled upon this brand Sisterparty fishing around on instagram and really enjoy their sets. Some of the items are very sexy and bold but a woman should feel sexy, right? Anyway, peep this new orange set I found on their site. I wore them with my Good American clear heels (similar here) and some gold jewelry. It’s so hot this summer that the set is perfect to stay cool but look cute at the same time. Check out the outfit below.

Spring Bottega Veneta Fishnet Heels

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Spring is here and I’m loving the weather.  I recently copped these cute, green Bottega Veneta fishnet heels that are just perfect for the season. I’ve had this Good American dress for a bit and have actually become a fan of the brand. It’s comfortable, lightweight and stretches! Here are a few cute, similar Bottega Veneta heels that are available through Nordstrom. Enjoy!

Herve Leger Mini Skirt and Badgley Mischka Heels

Greetings from sunny Florida! I found these new purple Badgley Mischka heels at Nordstrom Rack and paired them with a vintage purple Herve Leger skirt. I topped it off with a For Love and Lemons bodysuit. The mini skirt shows off your legs and stretches to match your curves. I just love the outfit. Check out more photos below.

Akira Orange Jumpsuit

Happy Thursday everybody! I’m loving my Akira orange jumpsuit which is actually on sale right now. I wore it out to dinner to Felidia’s restaurant ( you know the famous chef Lidia Bastianich’s restaurant in the city) and had a fabulous Saturday night before I left town. I just love the side ruffles on this jumpsuit, it brings the drama.

I paired it with vintage Christian Louboutin heels and a faux snake skin Guess clutch. Check out the rest of the pictures below!

Tanya Taylor Crop Top and Rag & Bone Jeans

So I’ve made a big move. I’m now living in Florida but while still in New York I got together with Mariya for some shots. The weather was warm (hence the Tanya Taylor crop top that I found on sale). It’s hot in Florida so I can wear this outfit almost all year!

These Rag & Bone Simone Denim Pants have been put to great use ever since I got them. They’re light and cute. I just love a dark wash. I paired them with my vintage blue suede Giuseppe Zanotti pumps (similar Manolo Blahnik BB pumps here) and my vintage Marc Jacobs blue handbag. Check out the rest of the photos below!

Wear These Art Deco-Looking Christian Louboutin Shoes in Miami This Weekend

These Christian Louboutin shoes from the Resort Collection would look great in the colorful art deco background of Miami this weekend! They’re also perfect for showing off a good coral pedicure.

Wearable Art Inspiration: Charlotte Olympia’s Hand-Painted Shoes at Art Basel Miami Beach

Part of being an artist is seeing beauty in the unconventional just like Alexander McQueen says in his quote. For those of you who have just started following, I am beginning to develop concepts for my own fashion brand inspired by my artwork. Eventually I’ll have all of my artwork up here for you to view, but in the meantime you can view a partial showing of one of my pieces here.

In any case, I am annoyed that I am back in New York early from Thanksgiving (because of class and work) and not in Florida. But, like I said a few weeks ago, if you can, get down to Miami this weekend for Art Basel!

Charlotte Olympia has teamed with contemporary artist Boyarde to hand-paint shoes that feature famous works of art from artists such as Mondrian, Pollock, Picasso and more. She will be debuting the heels this weekend at Art Basel Miami and the limited-edition heels will only be available for sale at Neiman Marcus in Bal Harbor, FL. Check out a few of them below.
