So, Olivier Rousteing of Balmain thinks that “…the face is the sexiest part of a woman’s body…” and it shows in the latest runway show for Spring/Summer 2025. From the bold lines and silhouettes to the beading and accessories, Balmain’s spring/summer 25 show is one of my favorites of the season. Some of the accessories have lipstick and perfume bottles incorporated into the design. What a genius collection, see more below.

So, summer is upon is with record breaking heat adviseries and hurricanes/tropical storms. If it weren’t for a bit of rain here in South Florida, we would all be frying. Fringe has been on the runway this season. So have cutouts and sequins. But fringe is certainly making statements this Fall/Winter 2023 New York Fashion Week. Ulla Johnson showed her gorgeous garments and I just fell in love with some of the accessories on the runway. From tie-up flats to bejeweled heels, Ulla Johnson definitely made a statement. Happy Tuesday folks! So recently I was unfortunately looking to wear all black for a memorial and pulled out some of my black leather items. Believe it or not, winter descended upon South Florida. Black leather not only keeps you warm but it can be very stylish. And, you can mix them up as they make great classic pieces. I wore a Bailey 44 top (similar CAMI NYC Camisole here) and a vintage Catherine Malandrino skirt (similar pencil skirt on sale here) with Jessica Simpson heels. For a little drama, you can always pair a black leather look with a big black hat (similar Gucci hat here) as seen below.

So spring has sprung and I recently came across a few Chanel handbags that were just so cute! Chanel bags can be expensive but they are worth the investment. Yes, some of them are trends of the moment but you’d be surprised how vintage Chanel bags can transcend time. Sequins and plastic are definitely a thing for Spring 2018. So, there are plenty of multicolored accessories this Spring/Summer 2016 season. I recently did an oil pastel sketch of a rainbow contrasted with rain. You know what they say, when it rains it pours but the sun has to come out eventually.
