Five New Statement Summer Handbags

Rabanne

So, summer is upon is with record breaking heat adviseries and hurricanes/tropical storms. If it weren’t for a bit of rain here in South Florida, we would all be frying. But, the beach and the pools are always there for us to cool off. I found a few handbags that are perfect for this summer and are of neutral color. They all would make a fabulous statement with your outfit! Check out more below.

Sisterparty Cutout, Sassafras Dinner Date and Doggie Park

So, how was your holiday weekend? It’s been extremely hot here in South Florida, 90s and above every day. Perfect beach weather. I went to Sassafras for dinner with my bae and the food, ambiance and company couldn’t have been more perfect. And this cutout dress from Sisterparty was perfectly cool enough for me to wear in this heat!

We collectively ordered the fried chicken, double smashburger, fried green tomatoes and a key lime mango tart. It’s one of our favorite restaurants in the area. We ended the night with a stroll on the beach and the water was really warm! I also took my dog Vivi to the doggie park and she got really dirty playing in the grass. Lastly, I did some reality tv binge watching of Married at First Sight. Love that show. All in all I had a great weekend, what did you do?

Swimsuit Season: A Few Cute Bathingsuits

Hey there, TGIF! How are you doing? So, we’ve entered the Spring season and I hope you’re enjoying it. It’s almost time to put on a bikini and sit by the pool. If you’re like me you probably have a bunch of bathing suits already. Does it really hurt to have a few more new ones? Not at all! I came across a few new swimwear pieces from God Saves Queens, Reina Olga, Diesel and Oséree that I just love. Check out a few more below!

Last Call for the M2 “Sunset on a Florida Parking Lot” Collection

Hey there! So designing this collection was amazing and I am so proud of myself. As you may know, I designed a small spring/summer collection inspired by my Sunset on a Florida Parking Lot painting. Well, this is the last call before I make it an archived collection.

In these photos, I am wearing the Sunset on a Florida Parking Lot skirt as well as bandeau top. They are both on sale and the sequin denim are great for the Fall. And, don’t worry about me, they always say “this too shall pass.”

What’s your favorite piece of the collection?

Heat Wave

Summer is really here and it’s hot outside! I found the perfect cut out romper for your day party or late night summer adventures. I actually stumbled upon this company Leau on instagram that just had all these cute outfits for everything from a date night to those late night parties. What have you been wearing in this summer heat?

Sammy B. crop top

This summer I’ve been wearing my vintage Sammy B neon green crop top. It’s perfect for the heat and fashion-forward enough to get you noticed. She makes a lot of fun clothes but pay attention, they sell out fast. Sammy B. did Project Runway and has been churning out exciting fashions ever since. Would you do a crop top?

Milly Dress and Summer Rosé Wine on the Roof

Malinda Knowles Milly Dress

This summer has been all about soaking up the sun rays and ros wine. We still have some time before Fall to enjoy the weather.

I love when the art and fashion collide, especially on a dress. I recently wore this Milly dress to an AKA luncheon and everybody was in love. It’s perfect for that kind of affair, brunch, lunch, or business with a nice blazer. Check out more summer dresses here.
