I completed a new painting entitled “Flowers Everyday.” There’s nothing to kick up the romance like fresh flowers everyday. And, don’t we all want some love. Anyway, you can grab some cool items that feature this painting if you like it. And there’s even more here (t-shirts, etc). Enjoy!
TGIF to you! I recently had some down time and with my artsy self, created a papier-mâché candle box that I plan on gifting to someone special soon. I love candles, aromatherapy and even soft sounds in the background (like the ocean). There’s nothing like a beautiful box to carry a potent and lovely candle to light up a room. As you can see below, I have a collection of candles mostly from Paddywax. The basil and cucumber one is one of my favorites. You can get one of these boxes from your local craft store or here. Just cut up tissue paper and use clear adhesive. Let me know if you make one!
Good evening everyone! I just added my River Flows painting to the site. I created it last year but hadn’t put it up. I just love the color blue and went on an abstract tip to create this painting. I love the ocean and water so simply recreated a bird’s eye view of land. The black is a target and the red is a dock. Don’t ask how these things come to me but I hope you enjoy. Oh, and if you really love it, there are prints, pillows, masks and more (as seen below) that you can buy here.
So I went down south to Wynwood, Miami last week and I’m always in awe of the artwork and creative juices that fly all over the neighborhood. The weather was beautiful although a little hot and although I was working on a project, I got to enjoy the area a bit. I had a fiasco ordering from Coyo Taco and well, they were okay. But I did try food from The Lickingwhich was pretty good soul food- I would recommend. There’s nothing like South Florida in the winter. I must say. It definitely tops New York a hundred times over. Anyway, I can’t wait to share about my project. Stay tuned.
So sometimes you just want to sketch on cardboard. Flowers are so beautiful. I was motivated to sketch some on something that could be easily thrown away. It’s like wearing grungy sneakers with a lace skirt…a lovely contradiction of sorts that actually works.
This weekend I went down to Miami for Art Basel Miami Beach. It was an amazing show full of beautiful paintings, sculptures, champagne and even oysters. I wore a grey Alexander Wang dress(similar here), my grey Alexander Wang handbag (similar and on sale here) and vintage grey Lanvin metallic sneakers. It was cool down in Miami this weekend so I also wore my Veda leather jacket while outside.
If you love art and haven’t seen my artwork, click here. Prints are available for purchase if you fall in love with any of them. Maybe next year I will show with a gallery. Anyway, check out more great artwork from Art Basel below!
The streets of New York are an art piece all to itself and my latest painting reflects just that. I did a painting inspired by my graffiti wallphoto. To find such beauty in the midst of such grit. That’s New York for you. Check it out below, available for print soon.
This summer has been all about soaking up the sun rays and ros wine. We still have some time before Fall to enjoy the weather.
I love when the art and fashion collide, especially on a dress. I recently wore this Milly dress to an AKA luncheon and everybody was in love. It’s perfect for that kind of affair, brunch, lunch, or business with a nice blazer. Check out more summer dresses here.
The walk to the beach is full of suspense and beautiful foliage. You just can’t wait to get there and if it’s a gorgeous day, it may look something like this. I took a photo of this scenery and loved it so much, I did a painting. Walk to the beach.
