Four Cute Heels Perfect for This Summer Heat

Hey, how are you all doing? It’s the height of the summer and it sure is really hot down here in South Florida. I spotted four cute heels perfect for a sundress or even a pair of shorts. It’s been said that I wear heels too much but honey, I used to walk up and down stairs in New York wearing stiletto heels and feeling fabulous. It’s just in me. Cinq à Sept Summer Suit

Happy Monday! Time to throw on that work gear, be productive and make some money. I recently copped a light baby blue Cinq à Sept summer shorts suit (blazer and similar shorts here) that is perfect for this heat. I paired it with some Dolce & Gabbana floral print heels and my Marc Jacobs blue handbag. I’ve been in financial services since 2006, working independently now with Knowles Financial Group.

Who says work clothes have to be boring? With a statement necklace and shoes, you can really jazz up a suit. Anyway, what have you been wearing to work?

Hey everybody! I’m loving these Pink Sheep Heiress outfits! This New York city winter has been all over the place and enjoyed a warm day recently. Ballerina skirts are not just for your childhood ballet days. This skirt and this purple leather jacket from the Spring 2016 Pink Sheep Heiress collection are just fabulous. Purple is one of my favorite colors so I really enjoyed wearing it.

I also just loved this striped shirt and wear-all-the-time zipper shorts from Pink Sheep Heiress. I paired them with vintage Prada heels (one of the best buys I’ve ever made). And guess what? Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter Hot Pants

marc jacobs hot pantsBy now, you’ve probably heard that we are experiencing an extremely warm winter here in New York. It’s been about 65 degrees and I am praying that it stays that way! In honor of this beautiful weather, I decided to try those impractical-looking hot pants you’ve seen on the runway for the fall/winter? I first spotted them in Marc Jacob’s Fall 2013 fashion show (with the giant sun below) and thought they were fabulous but in that snow, I just didn’t see it happening.

Well, I love these Marc Jacobs hot pants and you can pair them with those see-through skirts to make a bold statement. Not for the faint of heart but absolutely fabulous.

Seeing Blue: Sequined Shorts and Artwork

This past weekend I took photos with my Songs of Freedom painting and got into a ‘blue’ spirit with sequined shorts from English Rose. I got them from Natre, an amazing, moderately priced boutique in Soho (thank you Natre)! Anyway, I just love the shorts. They’re great for a not-so-casual day or girl’s night out. They’re very comfortable too. I paired them with a black silk top and glitzy accessories and a chunky ring.
