Did You Watch the Debate Last Night?
Did you watch the debate last night? Hillary Clinton wore a fire-red pant suit as per her usual and threw jabs with Trump last night. Her pant suits are a little boring but work well for her political persona. Pant suits can be very comfortable, I hardly ever see Hillary in a dress.
Anyway, are you registered to vote? It’s National Voter Registration Day. Make sure you’re ready for November 8th, a big day in America. Register here if you aren’t already registered.

As SS17 Comes In…
As the weather changes and gives way to Fall, let’s remember this awesome Spring and Summer that we had this year. And let’s get excited about the new Spring collections for next year debuting this month.
I remember this shoot I did some time ago in the Spring where I wore a Bebe white skirt and top. It’s a great outfit for the office to the afterwork spot. And those sunglasses are fabulous even for now as the seasons change.
Turquoise looks great on my skin tone. You have to pay attention to what colors look great for you. I’ve worn this outfit so many times, check out more work outfits here!

I love graffiti. There’s just something so rebellious and beautiful about it. I recently came across this door downtown and just thought it was really cool. New York is a dirty, grungy city but this is the kind of beauty that you can randomly find on the street sometimes.

Pretty for Fall: Alexis Orchid Marisa Midi Dress
So Fall is right around the corner whether you like it or not. And this cute Alexis Orchid Marisa Midi Dress is available for pre-order from ModaOperandi. It reminds me of Gucci a bit but it’s not. I think it’s just dreamy. Pair it with over the knee Santoni black boots and you are ready to make a strong statement.

Blue Lips and Denim
I decided to try a blue lipstick recently and have been rocking it ever since…especially with denim. An all denim look can be really cool. I paired one of my favorite J Brand jeans with an off the shoulder top from Zara (similar here and here). They’ve been really popular this summer and they actually let your body breathe a little bit in the heat.

Jars by Dani Desserts
So this week I popped by the Jars by Dani headquarters downtown to check out the instafamous desserts. Not only were they so fun to look at with rainbow cake and sprinkles but the bite I had was absolutely delicious! She topped the jar with ice cream and those rainbow cake balls and the cake was moist, rich and just lovely. It’s definitely that item for a cheat meal but worth it if you have a sweet tooth!
