Makeb’s Bagel Run

Good morning! I had a taste for a lox bagel with cream cheese, red onions and capers. I got into them while living in Manhattan and found this cute bagel spot Makeb’s bagels downtown. They have all kinds of bagels as you can see, you definitely won’t be disappointed by their selection. One of these days I have to try a different kind than just regular or whole wheat. Anyway, I’m up virtually attending Milan Fashion Week and am excited about the shows today. What’s been your favorite so far?

Ruffles, Harnesses and Tulle at the Gucci F/W 2020 Show

The Gucci Fall/Winter 2020 show was quite different this year, starting with a rotating circle of dressers and models. There was quite a bit of ruffles, tulle and harness wear that flirts femininity with roughness. There was also some great pops of color to brighten up some of the usual black in fall/winter wardrobes. It was a great show and a daring open to Milan Fashion Week. Check out more photos below!

Date Night

Happy Valentine’s Day! Hope your day is full of romance and flowers. Remember to treasure that significant other that you have or just love yourself if you’re flying solo. I just love this Sammy B. leopard print dress that I picked up recently. It’s perfect for date night. The dress goes great with a nice pair of black heels, I wore my Steve Madden fringly sandals. Metallic Jason Wu Pants

 

So I’ve been wearing these silver metallic Jason Wu pants. I paired them with my clear Steve Madden sandals for a cool look. They’re very comfortable and make a  bold statement. It hasn’t been hot nor has it been really cold in South Florida recently so they are perfect for the weather. Do you have any metallic pieces?

The Links Inc. West Palm Beach Chapter 50th Anniversary Gala

This weekend I attended the West Palm Beach Links, Inc. Chapter’s 50th Anniversary Gala in Palm Beach Gardens. It was a beautiful event that included a gold theme (even complete with champagne and gold glitter). The Links, Inc. hold a benefit every year for their scholarship fund for kids. I had so much fun. I wore an Eliza J. Velvet Mermaid evening gown from Nordstrom. It had these gorgeous feathers on the sleeve and was quite affordable.
