Happy Black Friday! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving day, I sure did. I just love wearing this army green dress and my fringe sandals from Steve Madden (similar Kenneth Cole here). I found this dress at a small boutique in Soho a couple of years ago but here’s a similar one from Michael Stars. I’ve had this Veda leather jacket for years, it’s perfect to throw on when the temperature dips. Layer underneath for more warmth.

Hope you’re enjoying your Labor Day Weekend! These are indeed the last days of summer and there is no shortage of heat to go around in the city. This winter I’ve had fun with this geometric fit and flare dress from Nordstrom (similar red Felicity and Coco dress $118 and blue Topshop dress $80). It’s warm, you can dress it up or down, and the flare makes you feel girly! I love it.

You might think they’re borderline cheesy but even if so, you’ve got to give it to Charlotte Olympia for her creativity with shoes! I really appreciate her tendency to think outside of the box and do something different.
I think these are great shoes for a summer movie date. Perhaps with some nice blue jeans (Nordstrom has a bunch on sale) and a blazer like this Helmut Lang Smoking Tux Blazer . Or a little black dress like this one from BCBG or this Blaque Label dress. Try these for an original look.
