MAXIM Next Covergirl

Hey y’all! I’ve been quite busy trying to balance everything I have to do. Anyway, I entered several contests to be voted in as the next Maxim Magazine Covergirl with feature photoshoots and cash prizes. I could use the cash to buy art supplies and create new fashion samples. All you have to do is hit the link and vote! All votes are doubled by 2 pm. Any support is greatly appreciated as I have financed all my projects myself, including this blog. So tell your friends, family and neighbors!

I started building a modeling portfolio a long time ago in college in Boston. Then I moved to New York and continued. Fashion, art and modeling have always been passions of mine and I would love for you to take part in my journey!

Vote here now.

Blast from the Past: Modeling History

Hey everyone, how have you been? I’ll be honest, I have really been going through it. Trying to deal with decisions that were made by men that may or may not have much to do with me. Also, dealing with the good ol American government and police. I know it sounds crazy but it’s the truth.

Anyway, I came across some old photos recently and thought I might share. I indeed studied International Relations at Tufts University and was also scouted for a modeling and acting career. I actually had applied to be a fashion buyer in New York but went into finance and kept trying to build my modeling portfolio. I did a lingerie show for Show Magazine at a New Year’s Eve party in Miami. And I also was a roller skate girl for one of Diddy’s albums in New York.

So, here I am now blogging about fashion and art, and thought I might throw it back. I believe there’s more and one of these days maybe a book or movie on my crazy life will come out. Enjoy!

Boston Strong: T-Shirts for One Fund Boston

adidas_BostonStandsAsOne-421x421-1As a former Bostonian, Tufts University Alumna and yes, Red Sox (and Patriots) fan, I am proud of the way that the Boston community has come together after the bombing and hope that justice is served in the face of such an atrocity. This act of terrorismĀ killed several people, injured over 170, and have left many still in the hospital unable to afford their new medical bills.

Students in the area began selling “Boston Strong” T-Shirts and now Adidas, The Celtics, Red Sox and more have all begun selling “Boston Strong” T-Shirts with proceeds going to charity. The Adidas Boston Strong T-Shirts are supporting the One Fund Boston Charity with 100% of the proceeds supporting victims of the bombing.

Yours,

“Fashionably-Late”
