We Gon Be Alright

So, Kendrick Lamar leads the pack with 11 Grammy nominations for his “To Pimp A Butterfly” album and is up for Song of The Year with “Alright.” While it’s rare that I talk about music, one cannot argue that Kendrick Lamar gave us an amazingly raw artistic expression with this album.

In this age of racism, sexism and leaders preaching xenophobia, “Alright” has been used as an anthem of protest for young people.  While you may not understand this, the album gives you a starking point of view that cannot be ignored. Congratulations Kendrick on your Grammy nominations, I hope you win them all.

By the way, Jean Paul Gaultier’s “Fight Racism” dress is out of stock but stay tuned for Pyer Moss’s Spring 2016 line. In case you missed it, here are some of my faves from the show.
