Karl Lagerfeld Pearl Chain Boots + Denim Skirt

So recently I stumbled upon a Karl Lagerfeld store at a nearby outlet mall and had no idea that the store was in West Palm Beach. Their items are cute and makes me wish that Karl was still alive. What a legend, right? From their button down tops to chain and pearl boots, the store will excite you about Karl’s legacy. Recently wore this Karl Lagerfeld t-shirt, Mother denim skirt (not similar but very cute Aknvas Rivington ruffled skirt here) , lace-up and Karl Lagerfeld pearl chain boots and a vintage black Rebecca Minkoff purse (similar here). The boots remind me of Chanel’s 2013 chain boots featured on the runway here.

Andreeva 2 ways

Happy Thursday folks! It’s been kind of chilly here in West Palm Beach and these Andreeva pieces have been amazing for a work day. The skirt above is fabulous and on sale now. I picked up this turtleneck and paired it with the two different skirts and just love the looks. I paired them with these clear Steve Madden sandals (similar here). Wore some purple lipstick to finish the look. Andreeva really pushes the creative limits with their clothing that should probably always get you a compliment. They are out of New York but they ship worldwide. What do you think of these two looks?

Black Milk Bubble Tea

One of my favorite drinks that I stumbled upon while living in New York is Black Milk Bubble Tea… It has tapioca balls at the bottom to help when you take a gulp. It’s kind of sweet and has a bit of caffeine to pep you up. Did a little business today in my blue Zara suit and stopped by to grab a bubble tea. In the city, my favorite place for bubble tea is Vivi Bubble Tea but this spot here in West Palm Beach is called Art of Boba. They also sell an amazing green waffle. Go grab one today!

South Florida Fair

This past weekend I had a ball at the South Florida Fair! We went and the weather was just perfect for my Good American sweats. We ate some good food- specifically a giant corn dog, funnel cake, steak quesadilla and lemonade. It was the total cheat meal! We hopped on several of the rides too and it brought out our inner child. The fair is closed now but if you’re in the West Palm Beach area don’t miss it next year. I didn’t even want Monday to come! Check out more pics and video below.

Quarantine Life

So I hope this blog post finds you well. In the age of the coronavirus pandemic, we just have to be thankful for the little things. I think that’s what this year is trying to teach us. The project that I mentioned when I went down to Wynwood recently has been delayed due to the pandemic. And a lot of other things are up in the air. But that’s life right now. We can only take it one day at a time.

Are you registered to vote? If not, you can register here and perhaps we can make some changes in the world.

I’ve been holed up in West Palm Beach. Was supposed to be in New York today but had to postpone my trip. I’m actually really thankful to be in Florida. The weather has been beautiful. Anyway, have a good weekend and don’t forget to take care of yourself amidst everything going on.

Makeb’s Bagel Run

Good morning! I had a taste for a lox bagel with cream cheese, red onions and capers. I got into them while living in Manhattan and found this cute bagel spot Makeb’s bagels downtown. They have all kinds of bagels as you can see, you definitely won’t be disappointed by their selection. One of these days I have to try a different kind than just regular or whole wheat. Anyway, I’m up virtually attending Milan Fashion Week and am excited about the shows today. What’s been your favorite so far?

The Links Inc. West Palm Beach Chapter 50th Anniversary Gala

This weekend I attended the West Palm Beach Links, Inc. Chapter’s 50th Anniversary Gala in Palm Beach Gardens. It was a beautiful event that included a gold theme (even complete with champagne and gold glitter). The Links, Inc. hold a benefit every year for their scholarship fund for kids. I had so much fun. I wore an Eliza J. Velvet Mermaid evening gown from Nordstrom. It had these gorgeous feathers on the sleeve and was quite affordable.

If you’re going to any holiday events this month, you have to check out the “holiday dressing” mash up at Nordstrom. Happy Holidays!

Art Murals in Downtown West Palm Beach

So I was boppin around downtown West Palm Beach and came across this outdoor lounge area. I’m just in awe of the art murals. They give a space so much dimension. I’m not sure if all of these murals were done by Amanda Valdes but she did do the “Day of the Dead” woman above. One of these days perhaps I will get around to doing an art mural myself. I’m loving them, how about you?
