Nana and Mommy: Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Hey there, how are you? So Mother’s Day is coming up soon on May 12th and although I am not yet a Mom, it’s precious to give birth to someone else. I hear it’s the kind of love that you just won’t have for anyone else. I used to spend summers wth my grandmother in Florida and we had the best of times. I miss her dearly and am lucky enough to still have my mom. There’s no one like a Mom.

So, are you planning anything special? Whether you are buying for your wife, sister, daughter or your own Mom, above are some great gift ideas. Nordstrom has plenty of other gifts here. Make sure to enjoy the time you have with your mom, grandmother or great-grandmother. You just never know what might happen and you might miss them for a lifetime. Below is my grandmother or Nana, as I used to call her. She’s looking down on me now. Anyway, enjoy Mother’s Day!

Sincerely,

Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

So, Mother’s Day is May 10 and quickly approaching us. Although most of us can’t take our mom out to brunch, we can definitely still make it a special day for mom! I came across a few cute gift ideas, check them out below.

1. Johanna Ortiz High-Rise Linen Pants– These pants are perfect for the spring/summer. They’re cute, airy and linen. Mom might love these.

2. Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Speaker– We are all spending more time at home during this coronavirus quarantine, why not gift mom a great speaker so she can relax outside with her favorite music?

3. Skims Shapewear– We all could use a little shapewear to get in that dress. Try gifting Skims Shapewear to mom, she might really appreciate it!

4. Makeup Mirror with Brightness Control– this makeup mirror turns on automatically as your face approaches and moms love a good face beat!

5. Bottega Veneta Jodie Handbag– Splurge on mom and gift her this gorgeous handbag! The bag comes in three different colors too.

Mother’s Day Memories

What are you doing for Mother’s Day? It’s May 13 for those that don’t know. And it’s coming up very soon! One of my favorite Mother’s Days was back in 2009 (pictured above). My grandmother, mother and I went to church early and then went to The Breakers Hotel (pictured below) for a fabulous fancy Mother’s Day brunch. Everything you could think of was there to eat plus a steady flow of unlimited mimosas. It was a day I’ll never forget. I lost my grandmother in 2010 and dream about her all the time. If you are lucky enough to still have your mother or grandmother enjoy the day!

And what better way to celebrate with a nice gift? Inspire her to stay active with a fitbit or go for a nice hat. It will definitely come in handy this summer. For the wine aficionados, check out the wine decanter and glasses below. Finally as a last resort, you can always just buy a gift card. Happy shopping!

Sincerely,
