FARFETCH Mid-Winter Sale Finds!!

So if you haven’t heard already, FARFETCH is having a ridiculous sale. Over 3000 items are up to 70% off, AND they’re throwing in an additional 20% off with the code x20ff. Yea, I know. Sounds too good to be true right? Well, there are actually some amazing finds! I didn’t comb through all 3000 items but I definitely made my way through a lot of them and found some cute things for myself.

PANTS

Everybody needs a good pair of jeans, these classic Brocken Bow skinny jeans above are on sale for $88. If you want to try something different…maybe you’re going to fashion week in one of the cities next month, try these purple Alberta Ferretti trousers with just a cool t-shirt or sweater.

SWEATSHIRTS

Found a few cute sweatshirts/sweaters. They’re ideal for cozy warmth on a cold winter day. Loving the lace detail on the Adidas by Stella McCartney sweatshirt. Fabulous.

DRESSES

Some of these dresses can work this winter with some tights and even an undershirt. But some of them will be absolutely perfect for the spring!

COATS

Okay so up north it definitely gets old wearing the same coat everyday. Especially that good old black or grey that everybody wears. Hey I love black and grey but there is no better way to spice up a cold winter day than with a bright-colored coat. Delpozo has a beautiful yellow and beige cape coat 40% off. Hurry though because there is only one left.

SKIRTS

There’s plenty of skirts on sale but I have to say this black and white Balmain mini skirt will definitely get worn. You can go to lunch with that…even to work if you do it right.

BAGS

So mind you this Bao Bao Issey Miyake bag is on sale and I hardly ever see any of their merchandise on sale. And kid you not, Ashish, Proenza Schouler and Rebecca Minkoff. High to low… yess!

SHOES

There’s a lot of boots on sale. Now might be the time to try that sexy high-knee boot or even these Versace velvet boots.

If you’re looking for more picks, feel free to visit the fashion shop. Have fun and please do share your finds in the comments below!

Delpozo NYFW F/W 17 Handbags

The handbags on the runway for this past New York Fashion Week’s Delpozo Fall/Winter 2017 show were just gorgeous! The detail on these are beautiful, I can’t wait to see them retail. Delpozo is one of my favorite brands, they are always very creative. Check out more of the bags below!

More Funky Street Style, Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute’s Exhibition Punk: Chaos to Couture

punkmodamohawkrippedsweater

So I am so excited that this year’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute’s Exhibition entitled Punk: Chaos to Couture is all about punk and funky street style. I’ve blogged about funky street style almost all year; New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2013Versace’s Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2013, and even created an amazing set of mix and match items for your every day (or night) funky street style. The punk and grunge look is what is now and if it’s not your style, you should try a piece or two and see what it feels like! If anything you can try a nice biker leather jacket or vest like the one I wore here.

hermesgraffitihandbag_malindaknowlesnetI can’t wait to see what everyone wears at the Met Gala this coming May 6ModaOperandi will be live streaming the red carpet at 7 PM. They are also giving our readers the opportunity to pre-order looks straight off the red carpet from Anthony Vacarello, Balmain, Delpozo, Rodarte, Nina Ricci and Wes Gordon on May 7. I will be live tweeting and running around the city as usual. Get excited and check out Exclusive Punk Collection, I’m kind of loving these mohawk headpieces and Hermes‘ attempt at the graffiti trend with their new Kelly bag. They even etched “New York City” on there for us locals and NYC lovers.
