The Perfect Outfit for Art Basel Miami from SIR.

Good morning from sunny South Florida! Art Week Miami is upon us and there are all kinds of events, parties and celebrations going on. I stumbled upon a cute, artsy dress from a brand out of Australia called SIR. that is perfect to wear to a dinner or Art Basel event this week. There is also a top and skirt with the same print available as well.

As I say, fashion is art in real life. Are you going to be in Miami this week?

Hailee Steinfeld in Viktor & Wolf’s “No Photos Please” Dress at The Met Gala

I remember seeing this “No Photos Please” dress by Viktor and Wolf on the Spring Couture 2019 runway. The dresses made a fashion statement even without the literal statements on the dresses. What a way to do tulle! I just loved the look and the camera she carried was a great note to add to the look.

What was your favorite dress of the evening?

White Theory Dress and Tom Ford Zebra Heels

So while in Palm Beach the other day I stumbled upon a fabulous little shopping center where Kirna Zabete has recently opened a store. I’m a big fan of Kirna Zabete from seeing their stores in New York. One thing I have to say is that Palm Beach knows how to do landscaping. The flowers and plants in this little shopping center were gorgeous.

Anyway, I love wearing this vintage Theory dress on a sunny Florida day. They go perfectly with these white BaubleBar earrings (similar below) and my vintage Tom Ford zebra heels. The dress also does well with my white Proenza Schouler handbag which has been a gem this spring. Check out more photos below!

Blue and White Striped Mark D. Sikes Dress

When I was in New York in October there were a few warm days and I wore this Mark D. Sikes blue and white striped dress with my new Proenza Schouler PS1 white handbag. If not, check out some of these other colors that the Proenza Schouler PS1 handbags below!

Pretty for Fall: Alexis Orchid Marisa Midi Dress

alexis orchid marisa midi dress

So Fall is right around the corner whether you like it or not. And this cute Alexis Orchid Marisa Midi Dress is available for pre-order from ModaOperandi. It reminds me of Gucci a bit but it’s not. I think it’s just dreamy. Pair it with over the knee Santoni black boots and you are ready to make a strong statement.

Romantic lace is a big trend for Fall 2016 and see-through fabric is definitely here to stay for some time. Get excited for Fall and while you’re shopping, make sure to check out this pre-fall shoe edit here.
